I love those songs that will randomly play and fill you with all kinds of emotion. Even though you may want to cry, it is so amazing what a melody can do to you. Just by listening to a 3 minute song you can figure so much out about yourself and the world it seems.

When that one person constantly pops in and out of your life.

And when that person is the one who’s hurt you like no one has before. 

And just when you think you’ve let the past rest in peace. 

And then you start to question everything. 

And you want to sink into the floor.

But you know you can’t.

So you won’t.

I feel this is true to me, as it is to many people.  I cry when I’ve been holding myself together through tough times. The stress becomes too much when you feel you have to fake being “alright” and “okay”.  You have to break down that wall you put around you, eventually. Bottling things up makes your perceive things as worse than they really could be and so much more.  I’m not weak when I cry. I’m accepting that nothing is perfect: accepting reality. And that can be one of the hardest things to do.  This isn’t saying that when you cry, you let go of the strength you’ve had for “too long”, it’s just saying you’ve been hiding and keeping things to youself for too long. But you did it to help those around you or keep what you saw as peace around you.  But then you take the peace out of you. When you cry you haven’t lost strength, you’ve just let yourself be vulnerable to feelings that may be confusing, but will work out in the end and everything will be fine (:
